I've moved, now available at Cerebral salad
I began blogging so long ago, that I don't even remember the names of my earliest blogss. It used to be the "in" thing to start multiple blogs then. I had blogs about with Calvinism, personal dysfunctions, fantasy fiction, productivity, Christianity, book reviews and more. Now, I blog about all these and more at my New blog Cerebral Salad. For the benefit of bots and Google: Dr. Anand Philip's blog about medicine, sexuality, healthcare, social enterprise and India.

What I Learnt About "almost-one-year-old" Babies.
What I Learnt About/From "almost-one-year-old" Babies.
They read books upside down.
They will get you into trouble the moment you look away from them and go bang their little heads on very hard places and .. get you into trouble. Ah well.
U cannot type with a one year old on your lap!!
They squirm.
They laugh… with a very gap toothed smile that will have the rest of the supermarket chasing after you . and then they will cry. Which will leave you … well….
They are often the most frustrating creatures in the world.
They laugh.
And the smile
And they babble.
Which I am getting better at interpreting,.
And they laugh,.
And if u raise your voice, calling for someone else even, they cry.
They forgive.
They fuss.
They laugh., and they babble and they love music .
Their main aim in life sometimes is to knock down what's on the table.
They have four hands,(All Left)
A well aimed kick to your solar plexus, be it from a one year old, does wind you,
Their head is hard and if they laugh and arch backwards on your lap , the connecting of your lip and their head is painful, very and yelping will only get you a big sloppy kiss on your lips, which you have to take and grin, with tears pouring down your face.
They bite.
They have a good grip.
They snuggle.
They cuddle
They will hold onto you as if for their dear life.
They understand everything u say. Almost.
They read the Harrison's. upside down.
They think dangling earrings dangle so that they can use them to sit up. Once. Only once, and that was enough,
They love it when u smile,
U can sing in your worst, off tune voice .. even "parlez vous", and they'll love it.
Even when the dog turns away at your yodeling, they'll stay and laugh,
Never let a one year old dance on your full stomach.
They're adept at tearing pages of books you are reading, esp when u are not giving them your full attention. Beware.
They laugh and they smile and they talk.
And they smell so incredible. If I could just bottle up the best test scent in the world, it would be of baby, sleeping cos then u can jus bend over her and jus drink it all in.a wake, she does not like being squeezed tight.:-)
This is dedicated to my little niece, who well.. now goes by the lovely name.. lil.cant think what they'll actually call her at this rate.:-)
As is obvious I am not the author of the post, a good freind is. thank you good freind

Getting tired and sick of this place
A bit too often
It has alot to do with the a batch leaving all major frinds and company gone and lots to slog.
Need to study regularly or else I will regret it

Sometimes I wonder
"sometimes i wonder why you even love me why you ever chose to call me child then i remember , its by your sacrifice that i am yours and you are mine" from third days "wire"
Almsot all of my favourite songs revolve around the theme of redemption of a lost sinner and the woundrous beauty of it. Amazing Grace how sweet indeed is the sound.

Hmmm
Preacher Story
Don't know who, but someone, a long time ago sent me this link , but the server was down then and so never could read it. After a long long time has something has moved me so much, I am strangely relieved to know that I am not alone , though I expected that. For me to spell out my doubts and fears about my faith(or the lack of it) is quite suicidal, so never tried really except once and I received looks that were from "oh! poor thing" To "Why, how dare he?" to "Huh?". The message was lost on most people.
This article is almost an autobiography, written by a someone i've never met.
I particularly like this section.
"I understand how some would feel that way. Many of you only know Christianity from bad books, TV preachers, and the people who watch them. If that were all I knew of Christianity I would celebrate my liberation from it all the days of my life. But I was exposed early to the real stuff - Top Shelf Christianity - Deep and Old Christianity. This kind is practiced by people who work until they stink and take life in great draughts. Their hands are as rough as their hides, and they DO their faith in secret, hiding their good works in obedience to Christ. They know how to love and be loved in return. Their laughter is loud and has its roots in joy". From Here
Like most good reading material it raises more questions than it answers, more food to chew on for my already stuffed mind.
"How now shall we live", out of context, would be a partial summary of my questions.

Rituals
I Have New daily rituals
1....Lifehacker
Totaly cool site with something for any net user.Has really good Life Hacks, DIY's, How to's, software reviews, and more....
2...Comicartcommunity
A site with a HUMONGOUS gallery of comic art, fearturing large galleries of the greats like Jim Lee, Alex Ross etc. A paradise for the comic-geek. Now instead of searching for comic wallpapers which are are rather limited and difficult to find i just dowlnoad and make my own using PhotoFiltre .
3...MIT
Imagine this:MIT goes open source with its lecture!!!!. Here I can read and listen to lectures on everything from anthroplogy to womens studies.Yummy
well I hope soon "Davidson's principles and practice of medicine" will also become part of my daily ritual or else i wil decend into deeper shit than i am now in.
Gotta Study
Now I have a POL with Dr.Ige.
